Quick answer

NetCredit caps its APR near 99.99%, charges no origination fee and serves 36 states — cheaper than Personify (36%–179.50% plus a 5%–5.99% fee, 27 states) for anyone it approves. Personify lends smaller ($500) and larger ($15,000) amounts and approves riskier profiles. If NetCredit approves you, take it; if not, Personify is the deeper-subprime fallback.

Personify figures from personify.com (October 22, 2026); NetCredit figures from its published rates and recent third-party reviews. Both lenders change terms by state; verify before applying.

Cost: NetCredit's ceiling is roughly 100%, Personify's is 179.50%

This is the headline difference. NetCredit's published APR tops out near 99.99% and it has dropped origination, late and NSF fees on new loans. Personify can go to 179.50% plus a 5%–5.99% fee. At the bottom of both ranges (35%–36%) they are nearly identical. A borrower who would be priced above 100% at Personify will simply be declined at NetCredit — which is the real trade-off: NetCredit is cheaper if it approves you.

Amount, term and products

Personify lends $500–$15,000 over 12–48 months. NetCredit lends $1,000–$10,000 over 6–60 months and also offers a revolving line of credit ($500–$4,500) with a 10% cash-advance fee per draw — flexible, but expensive if you draw often. Need under $1,000 or over $10,000? Personify. Want to borrow and repay repeatedly? NetCredit's line.

States

NetCredit covers 36 states for loans (33 for lines), Personify 27. NetCredit serves California, Illinois and Pennsylvania, which Personify does not; both skip New York and several others.

Speed and features

Both decide in minutes and verify through a bank link. NetCredit funds the same day for approvals before 1 PM CT; Personify the next business day. Personify's Rate Reduction program and free monthly FICO® score are extras NetCredit does not match.

Standard amortisation. The spread inside each lender's range is larger than the spread between lenders — which is why checking both with soft inquiries matters more than picking one on reputation.

Can you refinance one with the other?

Yes. Neither lender has a prepayment penalty, so if you hold a loan with one and the other offers a lower APR six months later — after on-time payments have lifted your score — you can borrow from the second, pay off the first, and keep the difference. Watch for a new origination fee at Personify, and make sure the new APR is actually lower after the fee.
