We are not Personify. This page explains how the lender's portal and payoff process work, using information from personify.com. For your account, log in at personify.com or call 1-888-578-9546.
Log in to your Personify loan through the Borrower Portal at personify.com (or personifyls.com if your loan was transferred to Personify Loan Services). You can view balance and due dates, make one-time payments, see your free FICO® score and request a payoff quote. There is no prepayment penalty, so paying early always saves interest.
Logging in
- Go to personify.com and choose Login (it opens myaccount.personifyfinancial.com).
- Enter the email used on your application and your password; use the reset link if needed.
- If you can't find your loan, check whether it was transferred: Personify Loan Services (personifyls.com) services some loans and emails borrowers when that happens.
Making payments
- Autopay (ACH) — the default; the servicer debits your checking account on each due date. Required to stay on track for rate reductions.
- One-time payment — in the portal using account and routing numbers, or by debit card over the phone.
- Check by mail — to the servicer's payment address shown on your statement.
- Payment schedule — Personify can align payments to monthly, semi-monthly or bi-weekly pay cycles; call to change.
Paying off early: what it saves
Take the representative example — $3,000 at 107.54% APR over 36 months, $282 a month. After 12 payments you've paid $3,380 but the balance is still about $2,742, because early payments are mostly interest. Paying that balance off at month 12 instead of continuing would save roughly $4,018 in remaining interest.
| Pay off at | Approx. balance | Total paid | vs. full term |
|---|---|---|---|
| Month 6 | $2,904 | $4,594 | saves $5,546 |
| Month 12 | $2,742 | $6,122 | saves $4,018 |
| Month 24 | $2,021 | $8,781 | saves $1,359 |
| Month 36 (full term) | $0 | $10,140 | — |
Before the origination fee. Request a written payoff quote; it is valid for a stated number of days and includes per-diem interest.
Rate Reduction program
Eligible loans get an automatic APR cut after six consecutive on-time payments, with further cuts at later milestones. A missed payment restarts the six-month clock. Autopay is the simplest way to protect the streak. Not every loan qualifies — your agreement says whether yours does.
Refinancing or borrowing again?
Compare offers from several lenders before taking a second high-APR loan. Soft inquiry, no obligation.
If you can't make a payment
- Call before the due date. Personify's FAQ says borrowers who can't pay "may qualify for help"; options are not published but typically include due-date changes or short deferments.
- Don't let the ACH bounce — NSF fees from both the lender and your bank add up. Pause the debit by arrangement, not by closing the account.
- Know the consequences: late fee per the agreement, negative credit reporting after 30 days, and eventual collections.
- Non-profit credit counselling (NFCC member agencies) can negotiate hardship plans with lenders.
Cancelling after signing
Personify's public pages describe no cooling-off period. If you change your mind, call immediately — before funds are disbursed cancellation may be possible; after disbursement, repaying the full principal promptly keeps interest to a few days' worth, and there is no prepayment penalty.
More questions about payments and payoff
Can I pay by debit card?
Yes, one-time payments by debit card are accepted over the phone; the portal takes bank-account payments. Credit cards are not accepted.
Does paying bi-weekly save money?
A little. Interest accrues daily, so more frequent payments reduce the average balance. The bigger effect is that 13 bi-weekly payments in six months counts the same as 6 monthly ones for the rate-reduction program, and bi-weekly pay cycles make missed payments less likely.
Will Personify accept a partial payment?
Generally yes, but a partial payment does not count as an on-time payment for the rate-reduction program and the shortfall is still late. Call first.
How do I stop automatic payments?
Revoke ACH authorisation in writing to the servicer at least three business days before the next debit, and tell your bank. You still owe the payment by another method. Closing the account without arranging payment triggers NSF fees and default.
What happens to my credit when I pay off early?
The account reports "paid in full / closed". Scores sometimes dip a few points because an open installment account closed; they typically recover within a cycle or two. Paying off early never hurts in any way that matters.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I log in to my Personify loan?
Through the Borrower Portal link at personify.com (myaccount.personifyfinancial.com). If your loan is serviced by Personify Loan Services, log in at personifyls.com instead.
Can I pay off my Personify loan early?
Yes, at any time, with no prepayment penalty. Interest stops on the amount you pay.
How do I get a payoff amount?
Request a payoff quote in the portal or by phone at 1-888-578-9546. It includes interest through the quote date.
Can I cancel a Personify loan after signing?
Personify's public pages don't describe a rescission window. Call immediately; if funds haven't been sent you may be able to cancel, otherwise repay in full promptly to minimise interest.
Does paying early hurt my credit?
No. The account reports as paid in full. Your score may dip slightly because an open installment account closed, then typically recovers.
What is the Personify Loan Services login?
personifyls.com — for loans transferred to the servicing company.
Does Personify charge a fee to pay by phone?
Personify does not publish a phone-payment fee; ask when you call.
Can I skip a payment?
Not without arrangement. Call before the due date to request a deferment.
How soon after payoff is the lien released?
There is no lien — Personify loans are unsecured. You receive a paid-in-full letter.
